Torino is showing interest for Cigarini.

There are also Juventus, Milan, Inter and Villareal
Buying cigarini is just a waste of money and time!! People in our management should focus more on getting a real WC player "with experience" to play that rule next year...Someone like Deco who is allready available in the market or maybe lucho gonzalez. I've watched 5 games for parma this season and almost all of emploi's games and i really think that there is absalutely no diffirence in class between cigarini and marchisio. The only difference between the two is in their style of play, one rather pass long or through pass while sitting back similar to pirlo but nowhere near he's level (cigarini), while the other favours getting forward more and link with the forwards. Getting cigarini will add nothing to our team IMO.........

You keep saying that between Marchisio and Cigarini there is no difference, and how Cigarini is a waste of money? If they're the same then why should we get Marchisio? If you watch Parma in a non-biased way and you watch Cigarini with a fair open-mind, you'll come to like how Cigarini plays.

All of you are very biased towards Marchisio only because he is already, technically, a Juve player.

I can't really rate cigarini but i kind of have to agree with quickfeet that very often, people here tend to hail players before they achieve anything. I read it in nearly every thread and it keeps going; giovinco, marchisio, de ceglie, even lanzafame... reading this forum sometimes makes me feel like they'd have brought us the CL-Cup already. I can't really say whom i'd prefer from cigarini and marchisio, but fact is that cigarini might be a bargain. This is the only thing that i care about right now. If he's willing to come and maybe accept a bench-role for some time, and if the price is right, we surely have some primavera-players who can go on loan in serie-b if you know what i mean......

Ermmm... Because Marchisio is already our player??

Lets cut the crap... Cigarini is talented but he is no where near good enough to build our midfield around him for the upcoming years.

Being Italian is not the only criteria to pick players accordingly... why not trying Slovakian for a change?

Lets not kid ourselves... if Cigarini is being pursued as anything other than depth that might become a star... then Secco and Co. are out to lunch.

He could very well grow into being a star... but right now he was a decent player on a lousy team that got relegated... essentially, the same as Marchisio. Would I complain if the depth chart at CM looked like this?

Sissoko, New Star CM, Zanetti, Marchisio, Cigarini...

Not at all... that's a solid group, assuming the new CM is someone like Aquilani or Deco, and not some risky investment.

to me he did. carried a team from serie B to 3rd place comfortably. he has an eye for talent by switching chiellini to CB and buying sissoko.
Our team was not a Serie B team. If anyone believes our squad in Serie B was equal to all the Serie B squads they are stupid. Our squad had champions like Del Piero, Buffon, Trez, Nedved, etc. How is that a Serie B squard?? Lets be realistic here. It was our players who got us to 3rd place. How many times did Ranieri's tactics lose us games and how many times did Del Piero have to save us. It was not his grand idea to move Chiellini to CB btw. Chiellini played CB for the U21s so when we needed a new CB the logical decision would have been to use Chiellini. Yes Sissoko was a good choice. Ranieri had a couple of good games tactically but he always made sure to mess it up with a couple of stupid decisions. You are waaay too short-sighted did you forget 80% of the season where Ranieri was constantly messing things up? Who knows where we would have been with a better coach than Ranieri.

I don't buy that. Sure, some of Ranieri's errors were obvious, but it's just too easy to say another coach would've done more.
I;m not saying we would have won the Scudetto with another coach. I am saying who knows where we could have been if we had kept Deschamps or got a proven winner as a coach. I do think next season we need a new coach because I personally was not satisfied with our team performance. I am unsatisfied with Ranieri and we got our CL spot now lets get a coach who can win the CL.

Rubbish post. Ranieri made mistakes in maybe 20 / 25 % of the matches, where did you get 80 % ??!! You are deluding yourself if you think our squad is better than Roma's or Inter's. Maybe we could have done better, but not much. I hate when people talk like this. You're just bitter Inter has won the Scudetto.

For instance, this season under Ranieri has been better then Lippi's last season with Juventus. (2003/04) What do you have to say about that?

:agree: if C-Ra had made so many errors then we wouldn't have had a shot at 2nd place this season...our squad took a major body blow after Calciopoli...it takes a lot of time and tons of effort to create that kind of dream team again...Inter and Roma have a lot more quality and depth than the current Juve team...and if not anything else, see the performances of our strikers and our record against the Big Four

Completely agree with you.

We finished 3rd and people here automatically started to jump on Ranieri's dick and want him to stay , we played like crap for most of the season , he made so many mistakes that it's not even funny.

After 70% of the games he was bashed by everyone on this forum for his poor decision making and suddenly he is good enough :melayyanandmessi:
