Worth spending 25mil to get him or better to get Can for free?

I think Can for free is too good of an economic opportunity. If he has a good year with us his value probably goes over 40M considering age and pedigree.

In terms of impact, I think Can has a little more footballing talent but will be much more erratic than Pellegrini. I think if everything were to go absolutely perfectly for each player, Can would be better.

If transfer fee was out of the equation, I would take Pellegrini. He seems pretty smooth and intelligent.
