My cousin lives there for part of the year. It can be expensive, but as Camp said, nowhere near as bad as some cities in the east. Phoenix has a lot of people moving from various parts of the states, looking for the hot and dry weather, so it’s a weird feel sometimes. Not a bad place to live though.

I think it is difficult for foreigners and those who are just coming to America. it's a bit pricy there but, i think that salaries are relatively high too so that helps. I've been unlucky enough to live in Iran for over 33 years, in iran IT engineers are paid very low not like USA, need more communication with some advice and even if possible I can move abroad for more insight abt how to accelerate my career

It seems that life in Phoenix is expensive how can someone lives in such an expensive city?

Not too expensive, although real estate prices have gone up like crazy. A lot of tech companies are expanding there. Intel has a big campus for example.
But it's really hot in the summer. So hot that sometimes airplanes cannot take off.

I live in hot and humid weather and I am used to this climate. mosquitos are the worst and cranking up my electric Bill's on AC. I prefer to have a job with a safe margin and a decent income and live in the heat.
I noticed the requirement for Citizenship have increased on indeed. Is that a growing trend or just temporary

I think you mean visa requirements. US does not grant citizenship outright. If you get the job they'll need to apply for J1-B visa for you. Trump and Covid brought legal immigration to a near halt, but I hope things change from 2022.

Unfortunately, I do not know much about US immigration laws. I applied for several positions in several countries(US, New Zealand, Oman and Norway) and was invited for interview, but I am a little confused because I do not have immigration conditions at the moment.
The important thing is that I no longer want to waste my time in the shit hole that i am at.

My bro is about to start at his new job on Friday. This job includes him monitoring trucks on a computer as those trucks go on a route around USA delivering various goods. His job basically is to monitor the drivers, make sure they follow some rules (for example no unnecessary overuse of the phone while driving, no alcohol, no taking the breaks too often, etc.) and also if some of the drivers experience some problem with their truck, my bro should call a certain number and provide them the information so that they could come and assist the driver.

I was wondering did anyone had some experience with this kind of job and if so, if you could share yours or maybe of someone that you know who did this kind of job? Thanks in advance.

i have a friend who drives a company car and workers from a different country pretty much track him to make sure he’s not wasting company time.

he said he hates it when they call for stupid reasons. Sometimes he’ll be stuck in traffic and they’ll call asking him why he isn’t moving for example

I assume that's tracking by GPS only? In my bros case there are cameras inside the cabin so he can see what the driver is doing. So if he's for example stuck in traffic, my bro can see that.

He got attracted to the job mainly because PCs are his thing and he's good with English. And also the working hours are suitable for him and the pay is also quite nice + he gets certain bonuses which increase his payment even more.

It's just that not many people do that kind of job in our country. He managed to read online a few examples from our country with a similar job (a dispatcher for trucks) so I wanted to try to gather some more about his job in particular.

oh yeah, his is GPS only. And he works in NY and Connecticut but the workers are in Albania.

that sounds like a cool job. I’m sure they have operating procedures he’ll have to read before he starts and those will most likely answer most of the questions he has

80% companies abroad(non english speaking countries) would need you to have good language skills and this a road block for many of job seekers. getting job in new zealand would be easier than european countries IMO.
