The world cup wasn´t a conspiracy against them. Fifa wanted to make football popular in Asia and thats why certain things went the way they did......
I agree, but it does justify Italy's angry and agressive reactions now.

You said it yourself, then stop blaming other countries for the lack of succes
I'm not really blaming other countries, I'm blaming fifa and uefa. Come on, it wasn't a coincidence Italy were denied 3 penalties and Sweden got one for an inexistant foul now was it?

first of all its two different games with two different refs, Cassano should of had a penalty, yes. But Trez goal shouldn´t been allowed against Croatia, I don´t hear any talk from them. Fifa and Uefa makes more money if the Italians has succes rather than the Swedes or the danish people. Btw what does this have to do with Sweden and Denmark being fixed

I'm explaining why Italians react so agressive. And of course you don't hear any talk from them, are they out?

I am Italian, I am a fan of the Azzurri, and I think it is a shameful excuse to blame our exit on some non-existant conspiracy. Italy, unfortunately, did not do enough on the field to qualify. The Scandanavian teams play a style that has historically frustrated the Italian style, and that has happened again.

There was no fix. Sorensen, the 'keeper tried to punch out a cross in heavy traffic and only got it as far as an opposition player. It did not look as if he intentionally flapped at the ball, so it is just wrong to accuse this man. I think it sounds terrible for our players to make these statements.

Yes, I think we were cheated in WC 2002, but there was nothing wrong with the events of Euro 2004.

Thank you, Kweku. It was more civilized in the earlier days, but I have to admit that the controversy and recrimination keeps me interested.:D

I'm glad your team qualified in its own disgraceful way, but could you stop making fun of Italian players that are obviously right in saying they were robbed. So Totti was suspended "for the good of the game", but how about this draw, which really WAS FIXED. Come on, guys, that strange thing Sorensen did? Please...this was just too obvious. Now it's the second time we go out "for the good of the game" and yet we are called sour losers...Agreed, Italy should have beaten Sweden, BUT that goal Zlatan made wasn't legal. Some guy pushed down Zambrotta and Zlatan himself pushed away Buffon. And is it just a coincidence Italy were denied 2 very clear penalties against Bulgaria?

just let it go. where is it going to get you.

AHEM can we not have a conversation in here without swearing at each other. I don't agree with the opinion of AndriesGobert by any stretch but can you please answer his points properly rather than resorting to posts like that. Thankyou
