Btw, if RUS's USSR still existed, those guys would have won 46 gold medals, same as the USA, but the total amount of medals for them would have been 165, which is 61 medals more than the USA.
Such a shame, RUS :D
Would be relevant only if the US were also allowed to send up to 15 athletes in every sport :p

As if they weren't. I thought half of the competitors in swimming and athletics were from the USA.

What you say only goes for the team sports. For the rest, it wouldn't have changed much, if at all.

:D Isn't that just the cute way for saying Ronaldo? The Brazilians do that with every name.
It just means 'little Ronaldo', he went by that name because there was a bigger and older Ronaldo in that team :D Then when the goofy Ronaldinho came into the Brazil team he originally used Ronaldinho Gaucho to avoid confusion.
