Yeah, I know all about Heysel and that, but I was just saying that they're not traditional rivals or anything.

To their credit, though, the Liverpool fans had been pelted with missiles, though of course that's not the way to react.

Liverpool are not hated by Juve and vice versa...on the contrary they're on excellent terms. In England, you can see Juve flags during Liverpool games (cos of what happened at Heysel they beame close)

Btw what happened to Heysel was the police fault, not the fans fault.

Yes the clubs have a reasonable relationship now, but the fact is that many fans in italy do blame liverpool still and if you go stand in the curva sud at the delle alpi and ask for thoughts on liverpool you will be greeted with disgust... the feelings are still strong... rightly or wrongly... thats the way it is

Dude, you need to go check your history books. Juve won the game, 1-0. A penalty by Platini decided the damn match.

I didn't say I hated Liverpool cuz of 1985, I just pointed out that many Juve supporters might hate 'em cuz of that.
