Marrotta is 31 hours away from ruining his career/not getting renewed contract. Do or die for him.
But he has done so well Oz. He has improved our depth, and it's not really his fault if players don't want to come to Italy, we don't have the budget, they don't wanna come on our terms, or if there is competition. After all, it's not that easy to attract top players :andyandbarcelona:

He has done well, just not at bringing us what we need. You can't say that the team isn't much stronger than it was last season, it's just that we, the juve fans, and the juve board demand a striker and he failed that one .

Signing Bendtner or Borriello would be a massive mistake. But IF all else fails, a loan is still just a loan... Why don't we loan Llorente with an option to buy him in January :agree:

Well, actually it is true not one decent striker that would upgrade our quality significantly has moved for a fee + salary that we deem realistic... Berbatov just maybe, but that's not Marotta's fault. Or is it ?

Bilbao is asking 36M and we won't have that money anytime soon.

contracts end at 31 june

so in the januari, we might get him at a massive discount, and in june, we could get him for free

altho, much competition for him by then
She probably meant in January we can officially negotiate with Llorente and sign with him the contract that will start from June.

Not a chance Athletic will sell him in January.

Please dont sign anyone at this point. If we are to sign Bendtner , or Borigol , no, just no, keep it the way it is now, the more you ruin it the worst for the team.

The whole thing with the striker, should have ended about 20 days ago , with the acquisition of a Juventus-worthy player.
This , at this point , is a meaningless endeavor.

I don't get it why clubs are so reluctant to sell players in the last year of contract for some reasonable sum. Llorente will probably have poor season if he stays in Athletic. He'll be free agent next year and they won't get a dime.
