A lot of them are, the ball bounces extremely high as well, even from controls, which is also down to the pitch. Look how often crosses or diagonal passes go miles. Teams are playing conservative games because it's the first round, but when good players are making bad plays in every game it gets a bit much. I think it'll take a couple of games for everyone to get used to that plus the conditions, altitude etc.

All countries did.

The difference is that the German league has a contract to use an Adidas ball, so they could use the World Cup ball.

Most other leagues have contracts to use other makes of ball, so could not use it.
Clearly that is what I meant. Having a kickabout in training is not really the same thing, even practising.

Who cares if it is vuvuzelas foult or not, the game is for the fans, and if fans want to use them let them, and if it brings more goals I think they will use it even more, so no loss here imo.

This world cup has been names as the most boring in history by the UK press, its had 25 goals in the first 16 games, 2006 had 39 goals in the first 16 games and 2002 had 43? (iirc) in the first 16. You cannot claim that they are bringing more goals. And yes the game is for the fans and i would be willing the bet that the majority of the fans and players and coaches would want them to fuck off and die.

I'm not saying that it couses more goals, just that in that particular situation. Because vuvuzelas certainly doesn't stop teams from scoring goals.

I realy don't know what to think about them, they don't bother me, I would be more happy with a different atmosfare but it's not up to me it's up to the fans in the stadium and if the fans there want to blow the horns I say let them.

And the argument that the players can't hear each other or it distracts them, well i don't care about that because the game is for the fans and if they want to blow the horns they shouldn't be stopped because of the players and coaches whining. Imo the teams and players are forgetting that the game is about fans not them.

aight, look at it like this....you are saying this is a fans sport for fans to enjoy...yeah? (im not arguing with that). If what the fans are doing is being detromental to the performance of players (which is a local phenomenon) and resulting in poor performances, less goals, worse play etc. then it would remove enjoyment (and this has been one of the dullest world cups in years) for the fans.

So would you rather they had there shitty plastic horns that are ruining the event for everyone else in the world enjoyed it and the player could play properly so the fans around the world can enjoy it?

I hope FIFA ban the fans from bringing Vuvuzelas into the stadium completely. It's best if this is done before the KO stages start. You've blown them for them throughout the group stages. Now through them out and spare us the agony for at least the final stages of the tournament!

Who gives a rat's ass about the UK press?

The UK Press can stick the Vuvuzelas between their two front teeth for all I care.

Every time team USA travels to Honduras and has army of fans outside their hotel rooms at 4am banging pots and pans, it's about being detrimental to the performance of players.

So to you I say...

Agreed. This argument that vuvuzelas destroy performance and disturbs the concentration of players in my opinion is rubbish. Although I understand people who want them to be banned if they are realy annoyed by them, but players and coaches complaining doesn't get any sympathies from me.

I can't believe the racism on this forum. Bunch of high horse riding limey-eurotrashcans would rather have the nigs make monkey noises than blow a few pesky horns. :disagree:
