This is what Juventus needs the most, i am not asking for miracles, just doing his job would be fine by me.
Lisandro now and Llorente in the summer for free is more than enough and regardless of their performance i will praise and respect Marotta for landing what we needed!

Everyone wants a big name signing and logic that goes with it is that if you pull a big name signing you get an excelent player. Nobody can guarantee that, just look at Torres with Chelsea.

One of Lopez od Lorente could prove to be vital player for us. Like someone said Barzagli-like signings.

Your argument sucks. He has a consistent 1 goals in 2 games league statistic. That's better than Drogba by the way, and he's 4 years younger, and he's cheaper wagewise.

Exactly. If Drogba would've come, he would be no more than a 6month quick fix until Llorente arrives in the summer. This way we got a player who will compete with Llorente for the starting striker position for several seasons.

Plus Drogba thinks he's special. Not only does he want an ass load of wages to be a "stand in", but he would demand to be the focal point of the team rather than adjust to Conte's tactics like he did the last years at Chelsea.

He played 21 matches and scored 8 goals, even Matri has better statistics this season. Unless you're talking about his "past" statistics? i'm talking about what he is today.

That is what concerns me the most, we end up paying 9 mill for a dead horse who we can't sell like tiago, thing i liked more about the Drogba deal is that it was a good short term fix, yeah the wages are 4+ mill but at least there was no obligation to keep him long term, but this is an actual investment to sign a player on a permanent deal.

Lets just say LL has a rubbish remainder to his season at Juve, we still have to pay the 9 mill and we're stuck with him. Then what? who's going to want to pay for a 30 year old?

consistent, for something to be consistent it needs to contain two or more of something (in this case season statistics).

He has played as a LW most of the season. I don't see your point.
