There was supposedly a pre-agreement last season too, with Iaquinta's transfer to Juventus considered a part of of the 'convincing Lippi' project.I wont believe it till it actually happens.Personally,i dont want Lippi back for a 3rd time. He's done his job superbly, and we need to move on,but it would be hard saying no to him under the current circumstances.

I agree. Personally, i love lppi's work, his character and the personality marcello lippi. He's done great things to juve, and i believe that he's one of the best coaches in the world. That said, i don't know if he really will come to juve. Let's not forget he's 60yrs old and he won't go on coaching forever. As far as i'm concerned, i want a coach who sticks to juve. Mourinho may be a good coach, but if he makes statements like "i want to coach 3 yrs in spain/italy and then go on and be NT, and then return to england", this makes him a no-go for me. We need some one with a plan for juve, in order to be somewhere on top with europe's elite in 2-3 years.
I won't go on and say that lippi is too old, because he prooved his abilities in italian NT, but if we really want to change our coach, we need to pick carefully. I think there are no real alternatives to lippi...

Lippi has an affection for Juve,
i doubt that any other coach of his value would accept to coach us, under those circumstances...
Lippi, is realistically our best chance, we need his experience and team of assistants, because our are just not good enough!

Lippi coming would be good as hes brings some tranquility along with him. Even when he is only here for let's say, 2 or 3 years, he is able to build the basis for another coach to build on further. I think he is the only person who can create a peacefull work envirement at Juve right now, as anything he does us accepted by the fans.

Eintracht are no Juve

Eintracht fell theyr no legends
Juve is rebuilding you know why? cause theyr legends so f off

we were demoted then rose back up and now were in the top 3 in the league an almost certified CL qualification place because of the team spirit and whoever wears a Juve jersey works double whoever wears a napoli or an eintracht jersey well you know where they rank now :D

and yes we dont fall like eintracht did, proof is look at records, we are always on top
So next time moron you wanna say somethin' make sure its valid
So you are saying that Ibra, Olivera, Almiron, Marcelo Salas, Kovac, Molinaro, Blasi,
Zebina are better than than Maradona because one wore the Napoli Jersey while the others wore the Juve jersey? :superhapp

“I do not see the attitude that can most benefit the squad and the fortunes of this club. Jean-Claude Blanc and Giovanni Cobolli Gigli knew full well the task given to Ranieri, but the results were better than expected and paradoxically caused problems.

“This is classic behaviour for those who are not part of this profession. It created tension and made it seem like a last chance saloon to get third place as a ‘minimum objective,’ so the upshot of that was Juventus picked up one point in three games.”
This piece reminds of a lot of people on this forum...

With Lippi as Italy Coach, Ciro Ferrara leaves Juve to join his staff
I can't understand what this fuzz is about. Donadoni didn't even quit/get sacked, and the newspapers already put together 'new teams'. i mean WTF?! Lippi returning as NT-coach? why should he do that? can't believe that. Ferrara joining him somewhere? WHY, it's not as if ferrara is more linked to lippi than to juve. Whatever, i don't believe all this. Should it be true, i'd be really disappointed by lippi and i'd take back my comments about him being able to make juve greater again.

Lippi Considering Azzurri Return

World Cup winning coach Marcello Lippi revealed he would not mind one day returning to the Azzurri.

Despite achieving some impressive results in his reign as Italy coach, such as finishing top of the toughest group in the Euro 2008 qualifiers, Roberto Donadoni's future on the Azzurri's bench is anything but assured.

The young coach was recently offered a contract renewal based on the performance of the team at Euro 2008, which he rejected. Names of a possible successor are already going round, AC Milan's Carlo Ancelotti being the most prominent. Ancelotti has never denied his ambition to one day coach the Azzurri.

However, another option frequently mentioned is Marcello Lippi, who left Italy after leading them to World Cup glory in 2006 and is still unemployed. Today the former Juventus coach revealed that he is not opposed to the idea of returning to the Azzurri.

"In life you can never say never. One day, I don't know when, I would not mind going back to coach Italy," he said. "I can't say when, but I can't exclude that in the future I will be the national team coach again."

Asked if he would consider coaching a foreign national team, like Fabio Capello, he said: "Capello has always said he's not interested in coaching Italy, [Giovanni] Trapattoni has already done it and we know how it went.

"I had the luck of winning a World Cup a year and a half ago with Italy, I could never coach a foreign national side."
