According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Marcello Lippi has called Deschamps by phone to tell him that HE WON'T COME BACK TO JUVE...

And there is also in the same news mentioning to an agreement between Cobolli and Blanc that Deschamps will keep coaching Juve even in Serie A if the club is promoted DIRECTLY to Serie A...

I didn't post this in Deschamps thread as I think many members don't read that thread...

That would be a good assurance for Deschamps. So far whenever Lippi's been asked about returning to Juve he's been saying "stranger things have happened".

Lippi will never be more popular and loved than he is right now. As soon as he takes his next coaching or administrative gig, he will be fully criticized again.

He's basking in his personal triumph, one could say he's on the top of the world now. If I was him I'd retire immediatelly and spend the rest of my days smoking those cigars on some tropic island. :D What more is there to achieve really?

It is a very honourable thing for Lippi to do, which of course is no surprise.

If Deschamps gets us promoted in a convincing manner ie playing well for the remainder and getting promotion and winning the league with games to spare, I think he deserves a shot at serie A with a proper squad to see if he can do it against the 'big boys'
