Packman is still there and there are other repos too. YaST is really nice, it is not only a package manager it is an advanced Control Center.

I didn't use the command line YaST yet but the graphical one is doing the job so far eventhough I had a long fight to install AmaroK with mp3 support. But in the end I succeeded.

Things like that is what's driving me away from completelly open source distros. Such things are essential and should be included in every distribution that takes itself seriously. Put a warning in the install process that it may be illegal in your country and be done with it.

Speaking of tiny screens, check this baby out :D

160x128
Is that a new purchase or just some random screenshot? While we're on iAudio, I bought that iAudio 7, 8GB we were talking about and it's sweeeeeet. Plays video but pointless on such a screen, music reproduction is excellent though. Only downside is the UI, not really bad, just takes some getting used to.

It's not new, but the screen is so small that I never tried playing video on it until now. The screen on your player is the same size as mine actually.

The iAudio 7 is next on my shopping list. My player works fine except that a button stopped working :confused2 Once it falls apart though, I'm getting the iAudio 7 or whatever comes out next in that line of players.

Good choice. One more thing, the player is really tiny. Wherever I was looking at, the pictures were really misleading, it looks as if it's the size of a cell-phone. When I recieved mine I was literally shocked. I should probably look at dimensions more carefully next time. :D

Yeah, it's because they want to show off the product that they make it look a lot bigger. So that you can appreciate the details. Otherwise the product slides would just show this tiny thing that you couldn't really even see very well. :D

But this is the format I like. Every mp3 player I've owned has been roughly this size. Boy how I don't miss the discmans.
