Huh? Amarok just works for me. I installed Ubuntu, and then did a "sudo aptitude kubuntu-desktop" and got Amarok with it, with MP3 support! Even all media worked straight out of the box, I didn't install any codecs, which kinda confused me.
started work last week, so no time to log into that busted ass XP i got. so installed PCLOS over Ubuntu and set it to boot at default. wanna try LinuxMCE sometime...
I'm mainly getting interested in distros that use the faster XFCE, even Enlightment, interface. I've grown bored with KDE and never really liked GNOME anyway.
i never liked XFCE. too stripped down for me! it's KDE or GNOME for me... other than Opera crashing when i visit planet-f1.com, i dont really have any issues.
