I slept at 21:30 and not thinking of Feisty, when it's out I'll do the upgrade, there's no rush, my system works like a charm, enjoying audiocd:/ and the Alt thing :D

That's the sad thing; I don't even plan to install it until a couple of weeks later, but I was still planning on downloading and burning the image first thing in the morning :pumpkin:

and the Alt thing :D
What's the alt thing? Are you talking about using Alt + ____ for resizing windows etc? That's cool enough, but I have a feeling you're talking about something far more awesome.

They must have released Feisty, judging by the (un)responsiveness of the website. I hope someone's had the sense to at least mirror the torrent file somewhere, because that should take a lot of the load off the servers.

I am sorry to disappoint you, Graham but I was talking about the Alt + to move and resize windows.
 I gotta admit, that is pretty awesome though.
I don't have time to check them out right now, but are you sure these aren't betas or release candidates?

EDIT: Check the release dates, they're all on April 15th. I don't imagine much will have changed since then, but still...

it doesnt say beta or aything like that. im not too sure though. i got the links from somewhere else....so...

but sumtin tells me it IS the original ones!
No, as I said, the release dates for the ISOs are April 15th. The official date for Feisty is the 19th.

i also found an Ubuntu page for upgrading to fiesty. so i guess they've already put up the iso's n torrents! just not on the homepage!

EDIT: Upgrade guide...

Considering the target audience for Feisty, I hardly think that's the measure they would've taken to stop people from downloading the ISO's ahead of the official release. Not exactly bulletproof 'security'

what about the torrents? them too?
Can't really check them out right now, but I'm pretty sure they'll release everything at the same time. That said, I think it'd be wiser to release the torrents a little earlier, because that's obviously the best delivery method available.
