Looks pretty nice and polished, though I can't for the life of me understand why they'd make such a drastic change as copying OSX's left-sided window buttons for an LTR release (if you'll excuse the tautology).

I know, it was plain dumb. And you can't just go into the theme settings and change it back as far as I know, you're stuck with it no matter what theme you use. :lazy:

you know the buttons in the top right corner of the window? maximize, minimize, close. they moved them to the left corner. for no particular reason

which to me is really stupid because on average my mouse pointer is closer to the top right corner than the other one

I wonder how on earth you calculated that average?

I'll try to notice my own average :p

But most of all it's for Mac-fags. :D

I think it has to do with two things.
1. The scrollbar is on the right.
2. I'm right handed, somehow feels more "natural" to have the pointer on the right side of the screen most of the time.

Why Mac put them on the other side I will never know. It just can't be anything else than being spiteful. It's just like some systems reorder the buttons Yes, No, Cancel in dialogs. This is the order that most people learned in Windows and there's absolutely nothing to gain from screwing with them.

It's not even spite, it's just the need to being different. Even though it's something complete banal, I could swear there are Mac-users who claim "it's better on the left".

alright .. makes sense ..

and yes I put all my windows to the right (except maximized ones, of course). Pointer? as long as it's not in the middle of the screen i'm fine :)

And yes, I can imagine having the window buttons on the left will screw with me for a while :sergio:

Exactly, being different just for the sake of it. Just like their laptops are white instead of black. Just like the ipod headphones are white instead of black. Anything just to stand out.

Well I'm running kubuntu so it won't affect me. But I still don't like this change.
