i dont watch PSG like i said above. but a simple visit to whoscored tells me that Cavani has 3.9 shots per game this season in Ligue 1 and UCL. Higuain for example has 3.2, Lewandowski 4.1, Ibra 4.1, Benzema 2.5, Suarez 3.1. if you then look at the goals each scored, and consider how many shots everyone took, i dont understand how Cavani is a bad finisher apart from missing few good chances. hes actually scoring the most percentage of his shots out of all top CFs if the stats are correct, which would make him a great finisher then

Cavani 22 games - 1786 minutes - 23 goals (1 assist) - 3,9 shots per game - 1,05 goals per game
Higuain 22 games - 1581 minutes - 13 goals (1 assist) - 3,2 shots per game - 0,60 goals per game
Lewa 23 games - 1994 minutes - 19 goals (4 assists) - 4,1 shots per game - 0,83 goals per game
Ibra 25 games - 2102 minutes - (16 goals (3 assists) - 4,1 shots per game - 0,64 goals per game
Benzema 20 games - 1345 minutes - 10 goals (3 assists) - 2,5 shots per game - 0,5 goals per game
Suarez 20 games - 1630 minutes - 13 goals (7 assists) - 3,1 shots per game - 0,65 goals per game
I exceptionally like how you list Higuain playing 1581 minutes in 22 games, but then calculate the goals per game based on the number of games

Really cant hide that incredible bias, cant you ?

Not sure how you can even compare these strikers

Higuain, Lewandowski, Zlatan, Benzema, Suarez all play in the top 4 competitions

Cavani plays in a second grade competition

Cavani plays in a second grade competition
Cavani - goal every 78 minutes
Higuain - goal every 122 minutes
Lewa - goal every 105 minutes
Ibra - goal every 131 minutes
Benzema - goal every 135 minutes
Suarez - goal every 125 minutes

i put it as goals per game so i can compare it to the stat i tok from whoscored (shots per game) easier. thats all

To be fair, this doesn't show how bad the misses he had were

and lol at 2nd grade competiton. because Crotone, Alaves, Bournemouth or Ingolstadt are so much better than Nancy or Dijon. hes 2nd best goal scorer in CL too btw, right behind Messi

iv only watched PSG 4 times this season (Arsenal x2, Monaco, Nice) but I regularly watch their Ligue 1 highlights and it seems about every game he has 2+ clear chances that he fucks up by either missing or just not getting the shot away.

Great finishers do not have games like this as regularly as Cavani does.

Cavani's finishing is far from worldclass, no need to argue about it.

He does make up for it with absolute elite level positioning and workrate though.

Cavani is still the best possible striker for us.

Whats up with Monaco, is it a new coach? How do you go from so defensive to so hyper offensive? Whole last season in the league they scored 57, now they have 53 in 17 games, wtf...
