@Fred Hey man, what is happening now in Libya? One more conflict for power?
A conflict for power indeed mate. They're destroying the capital Tripoli, the two strongest militia's in Libya now. The war against Gedaffi has had extremely negative consequences for Libya, while removal of Gedaffi was necessary, all it did was give access to heavy weaponry to people who took advantage of that. Now we have strong militia's ruling the country, while the elected parliament has absolutely no power whatsoever.

Shit. So it's basically a conflict who gets to be the new Gedaffi tribe? That sucks. It seemed that after you got rid of him things looked promising, or the trouble started very soon after?

Exactly.

It looked promising at first, but we got our priorities wrong and that fucked us. The transitional government wanted to build an armed forces, police, etc. But they prioritized preparing for parliamentary elections, and allowing parties to form, in the meanwhile militia's were getting formed, and since lots of these militia's had actually fought against Gedaffi the transitional government gave them salaries and asked them to protect the country's most important institutions and spots( oil fields, airport, government buildings) they got stronger and stronger, until they became stronger than the government. It all went downhill from there.

A bit tired, but this just frustrates me, I just can't understand how people think destroying your own country in the process will in anyway be good for the future

Crazy times, conflicts and bloodshed everywhere around.

Pentagon says Egypt, UAE responsible for Libya strikes

(Reuters) - The U.S. military believes the governments of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates were responsible for a recent series of airstrikes on Islamist factions within Libya, a Pentagon spokesman said on Tuesday.

Rear Admiral John Kirby, speaking to reporters at the Pentagon, declined to give details of why the Obama administration believed those two countries conducted the mysterious strikes.

Three years after rebels toppled longtime dictator Muammar Gaddafi, Libya is sinking deeper into chaos as armed factions battle in various cities and two rival legislatures compete for power.

Libyan Islamist rebels pose with planes seized from Tripoli airport as U.S. officials warn they could be used to carry out terrorist attack on 9/11 anniversary

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-carry-terrorist-attack-9-11-anniversary.html

The Obama administration is no doubt, absolutely, 100%, no question, the WORST OF THE WORST regime to ever rule the White House.
I'd like to know how a bunch of airplanes with known tail numbers, serial numbers, equipped with transponders, will fly undetected across the Atlantic and carry out terrorist attacks :shifty: The US officials should apply for work at Fox News.

I'm pretty sure they can destroy the transponders if they know where to look.
