Agreed. And that’s the most annoying and sad part of this entire thing. Bash Bonucci all you want, but these morons in the British press have not said a word about Cagliari fans, the president and coach bashing Kean as lacking respect, etc.

They have zeroed in on Bonucci’s comments 100%. Same deal with guys like Balotelli and Toure.

Bonucci is a moron, and deserves to be castigated for his response, but let’s not epithet the cart before the horse, and entirely ignore those actually engaging in racial abuse because a moron said some stupid shit afterwards.
This is sad, because they end up elevating perceived virtue signaling (or lack thereof) from an individual as more important than the collective actions of blatant racists.

Lilian Thuram spoke up and wow

http://www.leparisien.fr/sports/foo...t-assure-lilian-thuram-03-04-2019-8046066.php

"He states that Bonucci was voicing the common sentiment that "black people deserve it"
Thuram states that Bonucci is victim-blaming, in the same way that when a woman is assaulted people critique what she was wearing. States that Bonucci's reaction is as bad as the monkey chants themselves.

Crucially, Thuram does not call #Bonucci stupid. He doesn't let him off the hook that easily. Says the problem is an underlying one.

Of course he should too but its not the same when it comes from someone of the same colour. They need to realise that these players who they loved, sang for, adored, masturbated over share the same colour as kean and thats normal.
I don't think so, it is the same, and whoever doesn't get it a) can go fuck himself b) will only double down on his disgusting views c) too goddamn dumb to understand anything.

The brit press certainly pounced on it, but kids look up to professionals and sadly we're going to get some kids taking the 50-50 approach as a new thing. Bonucci is telling kean how to be professional, but the reality is he showed no sign of being one himself.

As for cagliari, thats a national problem, how we as a club deal with this is on us alone but as Osman already eluded to we are because of where we are.

bonucci just said what he thinks about it. he was just honest.

for me bonucci is like this native american nathan phillips, he represents native white italians standing their ground against kean, who provoking with his smirk face. he standing and saying- all africa is black and italy will be too. and its pure double standards, ive never seen this thurams, boatengs etc condemning racist behavior of africans people in europe towards white, ever.

Try explaining that to a racist, the first way to teach is to get into their shoes and then pull them out.

We should not address racist people, normal people should be our target. Racists are not appalled by Bonucci, they applaud him.

Of course the british media is mainly focusing on Bonucci and Max. It generates more clicks and views than talking about the bigger problem, the racist cagliari fans.

But who's interested in reading an article about racist fans in italy at this point? People be like "oh that's just italy - move on."

Italy will be Somalia's province.
First get Salvini, throw him into a small boat with holes drilled into it, tell him to seek asylum in africa, gently kick the boat towards the open ocean and watch him disappear into the sunset.
