Superb assist

Not sure what he was doing on the final goal. Too concentrated on Pogba than the ball?
Watch all of our goals conceded so far this season and you'll see something continually pop up. Generally as a team we also don't defend those situations well, which is why I was getting so agitated with us sitting back. They've got a lot of physical player and just a decent ball into an area causes mayhem. That's football.

I know Bonucci is not allowed to be substituted and must play as many minutes as possible, so how about this Allegri. How about you put Benatia in for MDS and you tell Bonucci to go stand on the flank so Benatia can play in the middle. AND ACTUALLY ATTACK A CROSS IN THE AIR. Instead of just bear hugging the striker and letting the ball fall wherever it wants right in front of the keeper.

I told myself I wouldn't post in this thread but I just cannot watch this guy defend crosses.

And allow Martial to run at him 1 on 1 :shifty:

it's incredible how a supposedly WC CB can be so bad at defending crosses, that's one of the crucial skills you need to be a good CB.

he had a positive game and that assist was glorious, but generally with him in the box we'll never be safe, there'll always be the fear factor that we can concede any minute and I don't think his passing game is worth it

Sadly, we need his creativity. He seems to be a better passer than Pjanic these days.

Whats the count of Juve goals with Bonucci involved vs opponent goals with Bonucci involved?
:agree:

There has got to be a point where we weigh up what is more important. Given that we usually have Cancelo at the back adding distribution, the need for Bonucci's passing isn't as high.
