His playmaking qualities will obviously be appreciated, and if it's not at the expense of Rugani or Caldara I wouln't mind it so much. Also Milan paid 38mil for him, we shouldn't pay anywhere near that fee, 25mil AT MAX!!
So your dislike is mostly over his leaving or his persona? You don't actually think it is a bad idea for footballing reasons?

Don't be such a drama queen. Castration is just a minor inconvenience for a dopehead, boot-shitting, gambling addict.

Yeah, my main gripe with him is how he left and went about it. It took me years to like him to then pulls this shit.

For footballing reason, I'd love a player with his passing abilities and playmaking abilities in defense, if there was an alternative I would've went for it. Heck I'd take David Luiz over Bonucci just cause Bonucci is a cunt.

@Post Ironic is just jealous of my virility he wants to take it away from me, just cause he can't get an erection without meds he wants to take away mine permanently

Dedicated to those defending this move.

Don't tell me about Milan this or Milan that, yes they are a disaster this days but meanwhile an half experienced 23yo Romagnoli didn't have even half as many mistakes and blunders as Bonucci the past season, the guy is past his prime and we will unfortunately be reminded about it as soon as we meet some half-decent opponents that will force some brainfarts from him, i'd like to see then and there how those defending this move now will come to feel about it.

Idk about you peeps but what i know about myself is that i am rarely wrong on matters as this one and tbf i've never seen a 'top' defender having such poor perfomances on a regular basis as Bonucci has had the past year, his move here is nothing short of an huge bet and i'm pretty sure we could have just as strong of a season without him.

Yeah, well he was never a good defender anyways...and he was covered by two WC defenders in Chiello and Barza. If he comes back it'll be strickly for the 352 or any backline with 3 defenders.

A bit too arrogant, right? :D

Seriously tho, if you do check some of my general takes on the first few months after new players joined us in let's say the past season you might come to the conclusion that i've rarelly misjudged them.

Well, that is true but i can neither confirm nor deny if that will be the case after this deal does happen, time will tell but personally i doubt we are seriously planning to switch to a back 3, that would most likely mean benching another offensive player, which would be tough considering all the atacking options at our disposal.

Anyway, even tho i am against this move you won't see me banging my head against the wall if it does indeed happen, i'd still welcome him and give him a chance for redemption if he eventually performs, however i would have preffered us investing in a proper ball-playing CM rather than gambling on a 31yo coming off a flop season, especially when we could've just aswell gambled on our already owned potentially world-class CB's.

Ultimately i sure hope we do dodge this bullet.

He was starter for two CL final runs in a back 4, you silly twisted boy. We played a back 4 with Chiellini-Bonucci in every single match but the 0-0 with Monaco in the knockouts in 14-15. Before losing Chiellini for the final.

In 16-17 we played a back 4 through the QFs while beating Porto and Barca without conceding a single goal. Benched Cuadrado and switched to Barzagli as RB after that, and conceded against Monaco in the second leg and got smashed in the final.

We were more defensively solid with Chiellini-Bonucci back 4 in CL than any other partnership we've had.

Barza as RB was always a mistake against top teams imo. As was the back 3 as our flanks got overrun in CL by teams with the real top wingers and fullbacks overlapping.
