Fuck Bonucci and fuck Pogba. I don’t want their shitty personalities back here, but of course I’ll support Bonucci, when he is a member of this team. A lot here could learn from that. And him not being able to defend is an absolutely retarded statement. It was the same people who said he only look class here, because he was playing in a back three. Along came Allegri and Bonucci proved himself in a back four. Not only here, but also for Italy where they were one of the best playing teams at the Euroes 2016.

What did you think about his form for Milan?

Point 4 is the only thing i can agree with especially if Pjanic leaves

And to a certain extent, point 2.

If we're swapping Higuain, Pjanic and Caldara for Ronaldo, Milinkovic-Savic and Bonucci then i'd be somewhat be ok with it even though losing Caldara just like that without a buyback would be atrocious piece of business.

Bonucci didn't look class because of the back three, but he did look class because of Juventus. Don't get me wrong, I think Bonucci is an excellent player. But he's one of those players who needs other great players next to him to truly live up to his potential.

    Then he's not great.

Bonucci had an easy ride being in between monsters like Chiellini and Barza. Infront of the GOAT Buffon and behind monsters like Vidal and Pogba.

He can pass and hr can come up wih the odd goal but he is a complete liability both on and off the pitch.

Am i the only one who thinks its no suprise that he had a change of heart after we sigebd Ronaldo?

    Complete liability...

We should bring back Giovinco instead. He is all-time GOAT level. The hype was justified! :mut:
Can someone please pull up all his blunders and fuck ups? There have been plenty so yes he is a liability.

Who said Gio was GOAT? His POTENTIAL and HYPE certainly was justified. Just about every football fan and pundit raved about him for years. I never said he fulfilled it but there was very good reason to believe he would.

    Lol

He was such a liability playing in a back 4 under Allegri that we won 3 straight domestic doubles and played in 2 CL finals, based on the strength of our defending.

But some cherry-picked blunders (Chiellini never made any of those :baus:), and a terrible year in a shitshow Milan mean he was a terrible defender and a liability.

I get it, you rate players based upon whether you like them or not, personality wise. That's cool. But also ultimately useless.

Why don't you rate him based on his last season? He was probably Milan's worst player.

His defending was always suspect btw, even when we were winning Scudetti left and right.

cause last season's milan was a miserable shithouse with mediocrity all over the field and uncertainty over ownership. Very few CBs would have done well there, it is likely not relevant to how he could play here.
Not relevant? He was their worst player. Even an inexperienced young player like Romagnoli did much better and they're playing in the same team.

Why do people want to exclude his season at Milan? Most of the criticism Bonucci gets is because of his individual mistakes. It has nothing or little to do with the players around him.

Why do you think I've said I don't want him back? He was terrible last year. But he certainly wasn't Milan's worst player. That's quite laughable. Maybe under Montella. He was much better under Gattuso.

Also, a little silly to rate a player on one single season instead of a body of work of 6 years.

He's a mistake prone defender when his concentration lapses. But you don't win 6 straight scudetti with the best defense, and make 2 CL finals runs based upon airtight defending with a terrible liability of a CB who cannot defend. Especially considering both those CL finals runs were made on the back of Bonucci-Chiellini CB pairing.

It's alright to dislike him and be worried that he may not get back to his best after the season he had. But it's supremely retarded calling him a terrible defender and complete liability.
