Bonucci had an easy ride being in between monsters like Chiellini and Barza. Infront of the GOAT Buffon and behind monsters like Vidal and Pogba.

He can pass and hr can come up wih the odd goal but he is a complete liability both on and off the pitch.

Am i the only one who thinks its no suprise that he had a change of heart after we sigebd Ronaldo?
did you stop watching Juve when Conte left?

He stopped watching when Giovinco left. Dude still thinks Gio would have been a star if he had played for an attacking team like Barcelona or Arsenal ::lol3::
actually, Arsenal might have just been the right team for Gio. they made guys like Nasri and Giroud look above average, maybe Gio wouldnt look his useless self there

Hopefully Higgy will refuse to go to Milan. Let's be done with those stupid swaps and wait for a proper suitor of Higgy. Milan want to swap their failure captain for Caldara and yet to be given Higgy on a loan? This shit can't be real, tell them to gtfo.

cause last season's milan was a miserable shithouse with mediocrity all over the field and uncertainty over ownership. Very few CBs would have done well there, it is likely not relevant to how he could play here.
Chiellini wouldve done well there or any defense in the world, because he truly deserves to be called a WC CB. But the guy stayed loyal to Juve and now we're going to give the stool guy higher wages than Captain Giorgio ever had at Juve, feels wrong

Exactly.

We are making a bunch of sacrifices to bring back that expensive passenger.

Seems we are decided to fuck up our mercato just to please that reject.

We are? How do you know that?

Maybe, no one is bidding for Higuain, but we have to get him off the books? Maybe Milan has made a condition of buying Higuain that we exchange Caldara/Rugani for Bonucci? Maybe we have to sacrifice one young defender in order to get Chelsea or Milan to snap up Higgy.

While it sucks, we have certainly improved our starting XI a great deal by going from Higuain to Ronaldo and Licht to Cancelo, if we don't lose any other starters. Neither Caldara or Rugani is a starter yet, nor is either one better than Juventus Bonucci of the past few years.

Would you rather we get stuck keeping Higgy and sell Pjanic or Sandro instead of Caldara/Rugani, to get our books a little more balanced out?

What is it with the continued references to us somehow doing this to please Bonucci.

Yes, we our sole goal is to make happy a player we kicked out last summer. There is no possible football related benefit. Suddenly our Management's main goal of the Mercato is to please Bonucci.

We probably only spent 300mil on Ronaldo because he is Bonucci's favorite player.

You think he was great in his last season with us? The cracks were starting to appear
not the point. Barza hasnt been a monster since 2014, Chiellini was often injured. he played 2 seasons without Vidal, and one season without Vidal&Pogba, in a 4 man defense. the argument of him being good only because of those guys should have ended years ago, and especially after we reached a CL final with Pjanic-Khedira infront of him, conceding only 2 goals before the colapse in the final

What is your problem? Why cant you just accept that someone has a different opinion than you? Are you going to keep bringing this up everytime i make a post?
The whole topic is subjective, im not trying to make a dick out of you? I respect your opinion its ok to think differently just stop being a dick about it.

Barza was our best defender 14-15.

I want them to find a solution not involving bonucci while acrificing caldara.

You rate juventus bonucci, most of us dont. I do not *nd i prefer having the chance to see new players who can defend than having to digest seen him in this team with his bad defending. O know he is good with his pases, but i want our defenders to defend, and i know very well how is bonuccis defending. No thanks.

e are giving them caldara who can have a great future, also giving them higuain who is no reject, to get a player from our past with high wages and dodgy form.

It simply is a bad deal.

If they want to offload higuain, they should get creative but not by getting nailed by milan

Supposedly he talked with the board and some team members and who knows what was talked, now they want to bring him back with the player desiring a comeback.

13-14 maybe.

But 14-15? Not even close. He wasn't even a first choice CB in the CL. In the knockouts he started one of 6 matches (the game against Monaco where half the team was sick with flu), before playing in the final because Chiellini was injured. A final in which he was terrible. Him and Pirlo fucked up bad on Barca's opening goal.

Chiellini and Bonucci were by far our best and most important defenders that year.
