Bonucci: "When you think of AC Milan, you naturally think of the team's history, of all those champions who have worn the famous team colours. I think of Baresi, Costacurta, Maldini, Nesta, Tassotti. I admire them for what they have given to football and this Club. They are legends. I arrive today to start writing a new page in the Rossoneri history and in my career.
The challenge begins now, a new adventure starts today together with comrades who, like me, are so hungry to win. I would like to thank the entire team, Director Fassone, DS Mirabelli and Mr. Montella, who have all strongly supported me and made me feel so central to this ambitious new plan.

I have been greeted with affection and warmth from the fans and that makes me committed to work hard, together with the rest of the team, to make sure this enthusiasm continues and grows during the season as we work towards winning and bringing AC Milan back to the heights of the Italian and European tournaments. We start now.

Together we can."

Milan's Fassone: “We came close with [Giuseppe] Marotta after the first meeting. The credit goes to [Coach Vincenzo] Montella.

“I was skeptical, Mirabelli was the most perplexed but the boss spurred us on [Montella and Bonucci share an agent, Alessandro Lucci].”

Cuadrado has the same agent :scared:

On a side note, you got to give credit to Montella on this one as well, he was clinical behind donnarumma resigning and prooved to be the same in bringing them bonucci. I dont remember seeing an italian coach who aides his superiors this well on transfers.

Yes, you`re hungry to win, hungrier than ever and together we can, so the logical thing is to leave Juventus where you won 6 Scudetti, 3 Copa Italia and 3 Supercoppas which clearly cant satisfy your appetite and join the 6th placed team in the same division, where most probably you will starve to death... Yes, that statement makes sense!

I don't like were this is going...

Bonucci: 'The last Juve straw'

Leonardo Bonucci reveals being sent to the stands against Porto was “just the final straw” and he didn’t “feel important” at Juventus, prompting his Milan move.
The defender surprised Serie A viewers with a €42m transfer to San Siro after seven years in Turin, where rumours continue to swirl about the breakdown of his rapport with Coach Max Allegri.
“Having discussions over the years is normal, as I am someone who is very direct and always speaks the truth,” Bonucci told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The first major signs of trouble were in February, when he was sent to the stands for a Champions League game against Porto after a blazing row with Allegri on the touchline during the 4-1 win over Palermo.
“People thought that was the most striking thing, but in truth it was just the final straw: there had been other situations before that.
“To give 100 per cent, I need to feel important, something that at Juventus was recently happening only in fits and starts.”
Bonucci is well aware he’ll be jeered by Juve supporters when Milan face them this season.
“They ought to know that, just like the insults I received when wearing the Bianconeri shirt fired me up, it’ll be the same if they jeer me.”
