He was at fault for the first goal, however.
Combined issue between Bonucci and Rugani.

Bonucci gets drawn towards the ball when Cassano plays it to Carbonero and so isn't able to recover when the ball is played back.

Rugani is serving no purpose in his position and should have been up closer to Cassano to give himself a chance to make a tackle.

But it should be said that that's not an easy goal to prevent. There was very little time for any Juve players to react because of Carbonero playing the pass first-time and Cassano getting his shot away very quickly.

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci believes Napoli Coach Maurizio Sarri calling them Scudetto favourites is “a bit of a mind game”.

The Bianconeri have climbed to second place in the table, but remain two points behind the Partenopei at the half-way point of the season.

Despite this, the Vesuviani Coach insists that the Old Lady “are better placed to win the Scudetto”, but Bonucci is taking those words with a pinch of salt.

“It’s a bit of a mind game,” the centre-back told Sky.

“It’s a way or releasing the pressure that builds up with a fanbase like Napoli’s, which comes when they’re up there at the top of the table.

“So they try to put it on other teams, first it was Inter, now Juventus. It’s normal for us, but we’re aware that this League is wide open until the last day.

“On our side, we have the desire to get into the history of Juventus, winning a fifth Scudetto in a row.

“It will definitely be difficult, because the League is wide open and Inter, Fiorentina and Napoli are well-equipped.”

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci wants to make history “by winning a fifth-consecutive Scudetto”.

The Bianconeri are back in the title fight after a poor start to the season, and are currently joint-second just two points behind Napoli.

The Turin giants haven’t won five Scudetti in a row since the 1930s, and the centre-back is aiming to match that achievement.

“The League will be wide open until the end,” Bonucci predicted on Premium Sport.

“There were those who said Juventus were already out of the Scudetto race, and that’s no longer the talk.

“We want to write ourselves into the history of this club, winning a fifth-consecutive Scudetto.

“If I had to name the most dangerous rival at the moment, for the way they play and what they did in the first round, and also because they have an extra weapon called [Gonzalo] Higuain I’d say Napoli.”

The Old Lady face Bayern Munich in the Last 16 of the Champions League, and Bonucci believes the Bavarians will not relish the tie.

“I don’t think they’d have cheered when our name was read out in the draw. We know within ourselves that we can handle it, playing with the utmost respect but without fear.”

This guy handles the media like a boss. I can't love him more. He's the best suited for being our captain after Marchisio.

If the day comes when bonbon is our captain it will be a very sad.
Maybe you can leave the forum when that day comes and it will definitely make up for it.

@DAiDEViL, can you put a cigarette in his mouth and write Klin on his hat? I want a new avatar.

True.

Tbh I can't really imagine a Capitano Chiellini though :D
Well, he was Captain several times, and even though I love him, I don't think it suits him.

I know, and it won't be catastrophic in any way when he will become captain (mostly symbolic role anyways), but for me he's just not the type of player that I'd pick as a captain :D
