I would take many other defenders over Bonucci but that's not the point. Overall he's a decent grinta player with a somewhat good passing/awareness.

Yes, they're both the same age. Big difference is we already have Barzagli, we didn't buy him when he was at this age. Buying someone like Lucio who was also old for a 4th, 5th defender is one thing, buying someone that old to replace Bonucci is another.
How is it a big difference between having an old defender who starts for you and signing one to do the same? We aren't really going to be going out of our way for this signing. And if it really goes according to plan, he may come here on a free. Don't see how it'll hurt us. Also, Vidic would be a far better addition to bolster the squad than Lucio was, and he may make for a great short term fix with his experience and ability.

I heard United was interested. And PSG. Any news on that?
PsG offered Pastore plus 5m for Pjanic. The offer was refused.

By replacing Bonucci we're pretty much replacing a 3-season system, it could take Vidic a long time to get used to playing in a 3 CB formation. Maybe a season. It's not like he's getting younger, so time is of essence here.

Barzagli was what, 27,28 years old when we signed him? A 33 yo signing would make sense if you wanted him for back up, not as a replacement. That's exactly why we got Lucio in the first place. I'm not against this deal, i'm just against him being the man to replace Bonucci. He'd be just, maybe, just a temporary fix.

So we are stuck with this guy as long as the 352 is here? it cannot be"

Theres must be someone who can play there. We are talking about Bonucci FFs, not Maldini. Kick his ass out

At least mention when you decide to be a snitch.
I didn't think you'd care, but now it pleases me that you do.

I love how baggio is going hard at Bonucci just because Klin despises Quags
He really outdoes himself sometimes.

Klin likes Bonnucci? I had no idea. :D No, but seriously, I have criticized him in the past. I think he's a bit too error prone and he may lose his place permanently, especially if we switch to a back four.
If you actually read my posts you'd know that I've been saying that we should drop him and switch to a back 4. He's simply irreplaceable for our 3-5-2 though. That's me being fair.

You should try that sometimes.
