He's got more skill on the ball than Chiellini that's all. Chiellini looks like he's falling over every time he has the ball at his feet. But when it comes to defending, something you might reasonably expect from a centre back, Bonucci's got nothing.

The quote below is taken from the delusion and general discussion thread. I would give him time, as long as I can see some gradual steps to improving his game. For example, I don't think I've seen his leg sweep for a while.

He has the physicality and some good defensive traits still, and he's still young compared to when most CBs hit their peak. Has the problem of playing quite well for most of the game then making one mistake to allow a shot at goal.
