When we go past bias and nationalism, we may start improving our team.
Inter and Milan know that one cannot afford to have a defense full of Italians at this level, these days, as Italian defenders are not as good today, as they were once used to be...

what's up with this bashing of italians ? do you get the principle of a club fielding the majority of players of the leagues country nationality ? everywhere there are trends to be seen that governing bodies are implementing rules to prevent too many foreigners in the team, but yeah, let's just get foreigners for the sake of it. lets get all those elias that don't care for the shirt and are not giving a fuck about juventus, since it's only one short stop on their mercenary carreer. it is very clear that without the natives conte would not have as much impact. you can not deliver the grinta to people just buy say "listen mr. twittergod, you are now playing for a historic team and we have a great history of winning by persistence so please act as if you even knew a thing about the italian league which by your standards is of course way inferiour to the EPL you wanted to join so bad"
you need players who grew up with a strong juventus ubiquitous and instilled in the back of their minds that this is what juventus is all about and not someone who happens to get his only knowledge from some epl-biased report about the "rightly demoted" cheaters juventus f.c.

they had them,when they were working, but they are not fools to insist on them now, when they dont work.
Milan also had a long tradition of Nesta Maldini and other great Italian defenders.
But since Italy has a defense crisis atm, why would they have a weak defense just because of that?
They have adapted and filled the gaps with foreigners, why cant we too?
Italy used to have the best defense in the world, for decades.
Their football school was supplying new great defenders, by the minute.
But this era is gone. The latest generation of defenders just happen to be the worst they were.
Its to favor Italians of similar value, to embrace far superior players, who also happen to be extremely overpriced and negatively affect our performances,
just because of the nationality, is blatant nationalism.
They hurt our club in every possible way and every non biased Juve friends, is naturally against those elements that do hurt his club.
There were options out there, far better than Bonucci and no where near the huuuuuge fee we paid for him.
But we were insisting at buying Italians only.
We insist far more than the average Italian team, because we encourage nationalism and embrace a large number of nationalist fans.
We rather sacrifice our performances, than our Italian pride...
I understand some sacrifices in a decent degree, but the situation in the defense has gone way too far.
Even the NT has issues of finding decent defensive and left side options and they can choose without limitations, the best there are.
We have many limitations atm, as we have very limited funds and are too small, to attract the best Italians there are.
So, esp for the defense and left flank, the areas that lack representatives of Italian talent, we should adapt, help our selves and buy a couple of foreigners.
We were lucky to have Buffon, Chiellini and Criscito 3/5 of our defense was ready and Italian.
We also had one of the best Italian LMs, there are in Giovinco.
We just needed to complement those players with 3 more non Italians, the rest of the places have had their ethnic cleansing anyway.
But just those 3 positions (RB, CB and LM) our chronic issues, that do not have an Italian quality answer should be addressed, as an exception to the Ital-Juve rule.
I m not asking us to become the new Internationale, just help our selves and fill the gaps, 3/11 that Italian talent cannot cover cost effectively...
But we have thrown away Criscito and Giovinco (among with Marchisio, those guys were our biggest talents)
we are still unable to buy Stanton+Balotelli and we insist at making out a new Canna+Zambro from Bonucci+Molinaro/DC.
This is just insane. those kids just dont have the gift, we tried, we spent the fortune, we gave them way too much playing time, in exchange of the solid performances better players would have give us, but they are just not good enough.
And since we cant have the only other alternatives able to deliver at this level, we should just move on and make an exception, for just those3 positions.
Its easy and cost effective to buy a way better foreigner, Licht has proven that and also how much of an impact such an upgrade can have.
