How long do you guys think it would take me to learn italian, considering im an average joe

I've lived in italy for a year back when I was 12, although I learned to speak and read, ever since I moved back here I lost all of my teachings.

So I said why not take some italian courses this summer, around 3 months of intensive italian, you think its enough?
