End this rumour once and for all. This is just another flop in the making. He is not tactically and technically good enough for Italy. He doesn´t fit in Juve phylosophy and he´s a clown. Not worthy of wearing the Juve shirt. Me say no no for this deal.

The deal to bring Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard to Juventus next season could be signed and sealed by Christmas, according to reports in Italy and England.

The Times newspaper says that Lampard will utilize a FIFA transfer clause to sign for the Bianconeri in the summer.

As the ex-West Ham man is over the age of 28, and has already seen out most of his current contract, Chelsea are powerless to let him leave for a cut-price sum.

Italian newspaper ‘Leggo’ has also reported on the matter, and there are more claims that Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco will fly to London before Christmas to complete the deal.

Secco has already held extensive talks with the Stamford Bridge hierarchy last month, and it is believed that there are only a few formalities to complete.

Lampard will agree to a cut in wages in order to hook up with Claudio Ranieri, the man who launched his career by signing him for Chelsea from West Ham in 2001.

The 29-year-old has since developed into of the most prolific goalscoring midfielders in Europe, and he has netted 20 plus goals for the past two seasons.

Lampard would give us not only more depth and goals but he will increase our market offer, i think the populairity in England might grow when he join us and he has many fans worldwide who will buy the Juve jersey with his name on the back, Big club+Big name= more money! Thats my way of thinking in this transfer.

We are linked with wingers (VdV, Quag) as well as Huntelaar. Lampard to smash in the rebounds and scraps might well be a masterful transfer as long as he settles in Italy.

Anyone questioning his technicality may have a point but Roy Keane was hardly the most technical player and he contributed to his teams.

Just because he's english doesnt mean he's a flop in the making.Your crystal ball seems to be malfunctioning.Whats Juve philosophy anyway? And what makes him a clown? The fact that he scores a lot of goals through deflections?

My opinion on him is not based on the fact he is English. Then again, you seem to like him pretty much for a supposed English hater.

If you don´t understand what is Juve philosophy, then what the hell are you doing here? How long have you been with this club? Surely you should know some things. The fact he scores a lot of goals is pretty useless if you ask me as Juventus doesn´t have problems with scoring and if we are looking at players who will score goals, then we should look at Huntealaar and Benzema as that is their job and they are doing it pretty good. Their future is a lot brighter than Lampard´s. Playing in Chelsea is one thing ad playing in Juventus is completely another thing. We need technical players who can create, run a lot, hold the ball, and organise the play. I don´t see Lampard as that kind of player.

i agree Ikon... i mean marko.

The thing what i dont like about this transfer is that lampard will be 30 next summer, and i cant see him develop anymore, so its more like going backwards. The age factor for me is pretty important, we already have "important" players who are in 30-s. One day we need to replace more then one.

I would also mention that lampard has hardly had injury problems, but he has been playing a lot. Usually 2-3 games missed games in entire season in all competitions, and that also because of cards. How long can his body keep it up?

So knowing the 'Juventus Philosophy' is necessary for being here? There is no such thing as a 'Juventus Philosophy' btw.The supposed divine and holy philosophy about having noble players at Juventus is applicable to every other club in the world.A Liverpool fan will call it the 'Liverpool' philosophy,a Real Madrid fan would call it the 'Real Madrid' philosophy so on and so forth. The philosophy that you talk about will be associated to every club by its own fans. There is no such thing as a Juventus Philosophy,a Barcelona philosophy or a Timbuktoo philosophy.

Ofcourse playing in Chelsea is one thing and playing at Juventus one thing, but if that's your logic, then maybe the board shouldnt sign Huntelaar too because 'playing in Ajax is one thing and playing at Juventus one thing'.

How much of Lampard have you seen anyway?1 match?2 match?Lampard's style fits very well at Juventus. He isnt flashy or beautiful on the eyes, but he is mighty effective at what he does.

true. but then again we don't need any player atm in Juve..oh that is unless we are planning to challenge for europe and Serie A. In that case we need players like Lampard.

and wtf is Juve philosophy? If there is such a thing as a Juve philisophy then Lampard fits in perfectly Lampard = tireless, consistent hard worker with amazing workrate. Now let's see how many players we've had with these attributes:

Nedved
Iaquinta
Trezeguet
Buffon
Zambrotta
Cannavaro
Camoranesi
Nocerino
Cheillini

Seems to me Lampard fits in perfectly with our players who also turned out to be successes here in Juve and fan favourites.
