I’ve watched Frank Lampard every week for around 4 years now and there is no way he is useless, or crap… Far from it. He is probably Chelsea’s and definitely one of the Premierships most consistent player… Look at his goal scoring record and assists for the past couple of seasons… I think you’ll find there better than Gerrard’s. Gerrard is too inconsistent, Frank is always looking good (apart from when he plays for England).

But anyway there’s no way we’ll get him within the next year, that’s for certain. In fact I think Chelsea are lining up a £135k 5 year deal so he finishes his career there.

really you have to ask do you need Lampard? and is he worth the money or is there somebody just as good but for less because in my opinion chelski will slap the price up on him.

well we could use lampard, but this news is ridiculous in so many ways;
- juve couldn't afford his transfer let alone his wages, which i believe to be around 100,000gbp per week!
- chelsea would be stupid to sell him, they should sell ballack and with that resolve all of their problems from this season
- i seriously don't see frankie leaving chelsea

this deal is never gonna happen imo.

Looks like Lampard is not as unrealistic as previously thought. Lampards agent seems in no rush to extend the contract and due to an obscure rule, Lampard being in the 3rd year of a 4 year deal could hand in his notice in the summer and walk. The club he goes to would only have to pay compensation, likely to be around £8m. Both Milan and Inter are interested.

Juve are also interested in Lampard and £8m to land him are nothing. The point here is the player's desire himself. Where does he want to go?

I read somewhere that he said he would have joined us when he had some contract problems with Chelsea a couple of years ago but then signed an extension.

Juventus to throw bank at Chelsea's Lampard

Juventus will throw the bank at Chelsea for midfield ace Frank Lampard in the summer.

Corriere dello Sport says Juve want to make a huge midfield signing for next season and have Lampard at the top of their shopping list. After losing Patrick Vieira last summer to Inter Milan, Juve are seeking a player of similar character and Lampard fits the bill.

Bordeaux midfielder Rio Mavuba and Lazio's Cristian Ledesma are also interesting Juve management, but Lampard is the man they want.

Juve know £8 million is all that is required to land Lampard in the summer - thanks to a new FIFA law allowing the England man to leave for a cut-price fee.

Players who have served three years of a contract they signed when aged under 28 can buy themselves out - as long as they give 15 days' notice to a club at the end of the season.

The fee would be based on their wages rather than a full transfer value, which would be nearer ?25m for an experienced international such as Lampard.
Check the source here.

I don'y want such rumours to make me hope that I could see Lampard in Juve on the next summer. Also, this is my first time to hear about that new Fifa law, I don't see him joining us though.

He may be overrated slighty, he's not as bad as everyone makes him to be but you have to ask your self what kind of player can you buy for 8 million.
