What an utter mess they are in. Years ago I envied them when they had players in their absolute prime I would have killed for like Eto’o, Toure, Mascherano, Suarez etc... Not to mention perhaps the best midfield pairing of all time in Xavi and Iniesta.

Now though? this snake in the grass Bartomeu has really fucked them up . They have failed to adequately replace key players like Puyol and Mascherano. Every single one of their >€100 million euro signings have been nothing short of disastrous. They haven’t moved on players long in the tooth like Busquets and Pique, who at this point are only getting selected based off on their names. Their dressing room is ruled by a clique of players who the coach dare not cross. Lastly, it looks like their captain is about to fuck them over and walk for free next year.
