Mad respect for Suarez. Man lowered his salary to join Atlético and won the La Liga instead of just mooching off Barcelona.

Suarez added to his legacy with this Atletico title. Once he retires I'll remember him more-so for the way he's carried "weaker" teams such as Uruguay, Liverpool and now Atletico (weaker is stretching it for Atleti but ykwim) rather than his success with MSN at Barca. I haven't seen another player consistently perform at an elite level with non-elite teams as Suarez has throughout his career. That is what really makes him special in my eyes.

Tremendous player, but honestly his level has dropped over the past two seasons. Moving away from Madrid would benefit both Saul and Atleti imo. Atleti get their traditional huge transfer and a new challenge could help Saul refind his former footballing self.
