no one is going to accept a club from another country take over a spot rightly deserved by the native, except maybe on league like MLS or China super league.

so what's going to happen here?

And football is the last thing on their agenda for this. They want to be independent when their economy is solely driven by tourism more or less, and have nearly 40% unemployment rate for their youths, thats despite EU subsidies keeping them afloat. How will they cope with that as a newly exposed independent state?

I thought the same, but Spain could still retaliate and deny them entry to La Liga.
La Liga means nothing without Barcelona though. Real would win the majority of the titles and it would all become much less interesting. The sheer amount of money Barca generates will allow them to stay in the league imo.
