Suarez has signed a new contract with Barcelona worth about €17m p/a before tax. So he'll be taking home about €17m p/a.
How the fuck do you justify that?

Messi and Ronaldo I can get has become larger then life freaks and insanely commercial figures so it kinda works out as one off, and their salaries effect their other star teammates is understandable, but I dont get why Bale and Suarez get near parity with them. Even if Suarez had an insane year, he hasnt exactly been doing it for a near decade like them, nor is he hugely marketable figure (the reverse rep kinda before coming there).

Wait nvm I missed your joke at first glance

Lewandowski has also put a pen to a paper recently. Polish sources say 15mln Euro per year. Anybody knows if it's net/brut? I suppose it's net though. They are making twice what Higuain earns lol.

Watching Barca-Espanyol.
Looks like Iniesta's finally shaken off those injuries and is at his utmost top form again. All of a sudden they look very very scary again.

He's basically to them what Marchisio is for us.

They really need to figure out how to replace him though, probably ain't got that much time left at the very top level.

now also think of a Xavi in his prime beside him... the reason why they won so many titles post 2006+ (and ofc Messi)

Yup, believe it or not, that's what crossed my mind while I was marveling at his magic tonight. What are they gonna do when he's done? Their stand-in players, Rakitic and Turan, did a pretty decent job. But, that's it. They're just decent. they lack that pure elegance and magic of Iniesta. Also the almost telepathic understanding between Messi and Iniesta doesn't exist between him and the others.
Also a lot of their core players are approaching 30. (Busquets, Pique, Messi, etc.)Of course there's some way to go, but we're almost at the tail-end of the magical Barca.

Something has to be done desperately otherwise football is dead without the magical barca.

Holy Jesus!!!! what Messi did on that second goal, AND, then again, the 3rd goal  :delpiero:
Dribbled 4-5 players in a very tight space. If he had finished that instead of shot at the keeper it would be a contender for his best goal ever. (this was the second goal)

:lol2: Serie A defenders sure have balls the size of a basketball. The same who Dybala performed a light version of what Messi did on them just a week ago against Atalanta.
Time to find another excuse.
just look at the defensive fortress that is Roma and Inter
