Those type of celebrations are part of the game and IMO makes the whole thing more fun.
I'm not arguing that they should be removed. Far from. It's just annoying that when the midget does it people are in awe, but when another player does it, it's petty. No, it's petty in both cases. It's fun, of course, but still petty.

You never letting this go :howler: Your ego wont allow you.

Who other player did it is said to been petty? As I said, Ronaldo was pretty much celebrated for his cheeky alpha dog gestures to Barca fans. So what gives? Honestly do you realize how ridicolous you are beyond when I talked to couple of the most biased footie fans you could ever see last night during game, who are Real fans, but not one of them had issue with Messi celebration while you do?

You arent arguing this should be removed but said this deserved 3 weeks ban?

Whoa.. What? Maybe in Sweden. The discourse in Belgium was remarkably different.

I guess this is where we differ. I just don't see a difference at all. Adebayor taunted the Arsenal fans by ranning the entire pitch to celebrate in front of them. Messi taunted the Madrid fans by holding up his jersey in front of them.

I don't mind the provocation (especially as I only support Juventus anyway), but it's just weird that it's classless or disgusting whenever other players do it, but people love it when Messi has a go at it.
probably because Real fans are hated more than Messi by neutrals.

Both fans are mentally fucked up seriously.

Barcelona and Real might have been on the helm for few years now but both fans makes this whole thing disgusting.

According to Zizi, he is a master tactician, and up there with Sarri and Spaletti for best up and coming coach. True story :baus:
Hes won a CL in his 1st season and is on the semifinal this season and on his way for the La Liga title (couldnt do in his 1st due to Benitez screwing up too much). Mediocre coach :baus:

Lets be honest, Zidane is an average coach or little bit above average, it's obvious but he's coaching Real Madrid, you don't need to be excellent coach to win titles at Real or Barcelona maybe in the future but not in previous years and not today, you can win titles at Real even if you're not excellent tactician but a good one, that would do it.

Enrique won all trophies in his first season at Barcelona and that's because he's coaching an in-form Messi Neymar Suarez but he's still average.

I would like to see Zidane with PSG for instance or lets say Chelsea, a different environment than the Real Madrid one would be a final test and define his abilities.

Last night, I told my friend, If Real Madrid can't come out with a draw it's on Zidane and no one else, on papers everything was in his favor and man, to start Bale over Morata or Isco nowadays is a crime.

The team was in shambles when he took over, 3rd in La Liga and Barca had a big lead. He came within one point to them and won the CL, even when his best player missed quite a number of games towards the end od the season (the 1st leg vs City away included, and the 2nd leg wasnt 100% fit either even if he played). Hes not the best coach out there sure, but calling him mediocre is silly

Marcelo needs to learn to be more cynical. Just make the fucking foul and your team wins the league I couldn't believe me eyes when he just let him run by

You and everyone else who saw that. Tho is easier to say in hindsight after we saw the goal happend, that kind of standoffish defending isnt anything new with Marcelo. Plus he would probably been sent off if he made that foul (2nd yellow).

If he was already on a yellow I understand it. Wasn't a particularly dangerous situation at that point, at least no dangerous enough to get yourself banned for the next game imo

Just checked, he wasn't. Really bad mistake in that case

Remember when Rijkaard was also a good coach here? Yeah.

I think the overreaction to messis celebration is just because, as juve fans, we know that if a player of ours did that to rival fans we would be fined for territorial racism or some other made up offense. Doesnt mean messi did anything wrong

    Guess it's a Belgian thing. :D

You asked me if it was a provaction earlier, yeah you could argue it was.

But the scale between what he did and what Adebayor did is huge. That's where we differ.
