I'll tell you a short story about what has created this SarriBoyz phenomenon.
After Barca and Spain NT dominated football for a short while with their short passing style of play. Quite a few people became fans of that brand of football, even more people became closet fans afraid to admit that they no longer accepted any other way of playing. These closet fans who at the same time supported Juve watched for three years in awe when Napoli, a poor mans version of said style, absolutely dominated the ball possession stats against Cagliari and Chievo. They were aching inside and barely were able to enjoy the many victories and trophies Juve accumulated through those years. Each day they prayed for their suffering to end. Finally after much suffering and praying it seems their prayers have been answered. They can come out of their closets and enjoy life again after years of pure darkness.

He was naive and too much of a "beautiful football" ideologue at first at Napoli. That defense definitely could've been better and was in the end. He did play a proactive game at Empoli Giampaolo style but being a small club only to a certain degree. He is or becomes aware of the limitations.
Scoring goals/attacking was never an issue at Napoli. It was getting caught during transitions. Same was the case at Chelsea (that and Chelsea players being thick) after early good start (with Jorginho being main culprit) before he changed things around.
He isn't among my top 4 preferences. You can worry about his comments during pressure situations (though much of that would be curbed at Juve, we've rules against moronic complaints) and you can worry about him still being relatively unknown in Euro competitions (alternatives don't really offer guarantees either), but I disagree about judging based on Napoli failures in Europe bc that had more to do with the club.
All we know is that a balanced proactive style favors the competition, and we needed a change (motivation and addressing injuries perhaps being even bigger necessities). And I wouldn't be surprised if Sarri leads to Pep in a couple of years.

As funny as this is, the funniest bit is it's no where close to the dominating all consuming style of tiki taka and insanely productive attacking football (the defence is another matter). It flatters to deceive, this so called attacking football of Sarri, let's set aside the not winning titles part of the equation. Goals, the hallmark of attacking "tiki taka" footie, our Juventus outscored his Napoli. And Pep City outscored Chelsea by 33 goals. Yea there is a quality difference in the squad, but the quality difference was not 33 goals...
So clearly this hyper attacking football some are looking forward to is not exactly all that.
Me personally if we get him, I look forward to better passing game, because that he guarantees, but the rest? My expectations will be low. As I would with any coach I consider a stopgap solution. And I would be shocked and pleased if he turned out to be anything more then a stopgap coach.

At this point you are just giving too much credit to Allegri and putting him into the same bracket as legends like Zidane and Pep , just because he won the one horse league.
Unless he wins CL, he is not even close to those 2.
Winning this league with this team don't make you a proven winner unless your team is Lazio or Atalanta. I'm sure any decent coach would win serie a with Juventus squad.

I've seen only two legit sarribois posting in these chapters in Mark's book, so I assume you're referring to me and likes aka sane posters as sarriboys too.
