You must have not followed Sarri at Chelsea at all.

And missed Napoli's/ADL's directives of only focusing on Serie A.
His results were fairly bad and one track approached in most top 6 games in EPL. Are you referring to one game vs City he played defensive counter approach? Apparently it's his Magnus opus moment if that comes up again.

And preferring Serie A title does not excuse abject failure in EL and CL, it says alot about a coach if he cant prepare a team on two fronts.

With your standard, yes Zidane is a loser too. He didn't won the league with his team.

This black and white perspective is what i don't like about here.

A coach is either a goat or rubbish, there is nothing in between.
Sarri is not rubbish. We don't like him, nothing wrong with that.

Objectively speaking, Sarri is simply not a good fit for Juve and Juve's ambitions.

He's on twitter to you know, and has way more followers than any of the gurus... isn't that what counts?

Who says they don't? Oh, twitter gurus.
Why should followers matter? By their nature, gurus and secret sources can't have really any followers, they are anonymous, so they post as such.

That's the thing, Sarri is exactly that, something in between the best and your average coach. That clearly should not be good enough for a Juve that aspires to Improve enough to win CL.

I thought he was a naive, plan a only coach while at Napoli too (though he did improve the team defensively in final season), but at Chelsea, when things weren't working, he pretty much dropped sarriball.

Without showing that bit of flexibility, doubt we would've been interested in him.

I disagree, when the club tells you and the players this or that competition isn't important, it does make a big difference. Makes diff in regards to time spent on preparation, xi, motivation, all of the above.

Sarri and Sarriball is the budget version of Pep Guardiola and Tiki Taka. I like Sarri, we need attacking, offensive football. We are fucking tired of defensive football so please don't hate on Sarri, he will give us exactly what we need. Offensive, napoli, tiki tak football. BUT, until then: Pep is coming.

Enough of Sarri now. How's the Pep talking going guys?

We don't need offensive football.

We need offensive football, charisma, leadership, marketing, growth, new fans, CL.

Sarri only brings the first.

But he ain't coming.
