People who want him sold badly don’t realize that there’s no team in the world with a great backup left back.

Players like Asamoah, Digne, Delph, Bernat, Theo Hernandez... is about as good as you’re gonna get for that role.

You need squad players like this in your team.

he as also been very reliable imo. People are wayyyy too harsh on him and Licht for no reason.

We should keep him. He's reliable as a rotation player and he's been with us ever since we started winning again. It would make no sense selling him only to replace him with somebody similar or worse. I highly doubt a top class LB would accept the role Asamoah is given, and who would we bring in anyway? Spinnazola can play at RB and if we sell A.Sandro(God forbid) he can play on the left.

This match was different, we could finally see old Asa who is not afraid to dribble past his opponents and he did it with success. Max did good job rotating this left side - Asa is starting to play as he was doing before the injury and Sandro seems to be getting his form back.
