Right wing is a glaring omission, otherwise you could put Caceres at left back, if De Ceglie is not to be trusted there. That would also have zero width on the left hand side.

My god, if people in here bitched about Asamoah as a LWB, wait until they see Caceres trying to put in crosses with his weak foot. LOL.

I don't trust any of those players for the RW position, but what you said in the Conte thread is interesting, because we could well be forced to go with 4-3-3 with Bonucci suspended. That or a central defence of Caceres - Barzagli - Peluso.

Right wing can be occupied by Giovinco or Isla, even Anelka now.

Left back can be filled by Caceres, Peluso or De Ceglie.
Interesting that you chose 3 players who are all completely different in style and attributes to play the RW position. Almost like the player's suitability to the position doesn't matter as long as we play the formation.

We play players out of position in other formations too, so what does it matter?

Giaccherini can also play the RW.

It's just kind of funny to see people so hell bent on the 4-3-3 and then they are so comfortable basically picking the RW out of a hat. It makes me wonder if they even know, themselves, why they want to change the system.

Isla or Gio in the right of the top 3. Mirko on the left.

It really is not that hard to understand.

I find it funny that we have been rotating the shit out players to fill one CB and another LWB position (TWO positions instead of ONE) and it hasn't been working but yet some people insist that it is the better formation because we have gained 3 more points than we did last season with 4-3-3.

This.

When did Isla or Giovinco last play RW?
When was the last time Asamoah played for a major team as a LWB?

Hardly ever, yet here we are.

Point?

We gave up 1 shot last game.
