I hope it doesn't ruin his game playing in the center, given that he's getting used to playing wide in space. His natural tendencies as a cm also definitely have a bearing on his game as LwB though, where as cm he's not required to cross the ball as is expected off him playing wide.

It's weird because whenever I've seen him play CM or LCM he looks like he has vision and can pass well from those areas. But in wide areas it goes from good to horrible from one attempt to the next.

True I noticed this as well - a lot of lefties seem to have a heavy hook on the ball.

Just bcuz he's more solid than the other sh!t we have at left wing doesn't make him a good LWB. We need to buy a proper natural one and get him back to mid, where he can really excel.
