thats the Hunter, apart from scoring goals he doesnt add much.
People were saying the same for Trezeguet but he's still a legend.

I don't know... Huntelaar seems great to me sometimes but sometimes far from that. I don't think he'd suit our current style, especially if he's defined as one of those who don't add much. I'd like to have another striker who gives it all like Quag. That way our wingers would do even better.

You really rate him? I know you wanted him some time before too.

I liked Hunter but his performance at Milan kinda sucked. His goal record was decent but he played kinda bad.
He was played out of position all the time, And he doesn't create his own chances, like Gian is saying.
He is a poacher like Trez. Anyways, he will not come but he owns both Amauri and Iaquinta is scoring goals!

Out of position? How is that possible with strikers?

I've seen him fair share of times and he was always upfront. I actually laughed at him many times because he tends to screw up a lot, or he did that in his past.

I don't know... I'd prefer some players like Dzeko, Tevez, Torres ... ok I went too far with that.

I meant it in a positive way. He's a poacher, he wouldn't add much to the build up play.

At Ajax he was good, RM too, Milan like above me he has been said was played as a RW sometimes and still did okay. He is a bit of a choker but I still welcome him with open arms :D

Allegri used him as a rightwinger alot, You laughed at him? You sure we are talking about the same Huntelaar? At Heerenveen he scored alot, At Ajax he scored once 33goals a season if i'm correct, Madrid he scored with little playing time and even at Milan he had a normal, not great average. You are comparing all sorts of strikers who have different characteristics:D Except maybe Dzeko, he is a pure class finisher too! Ok let me stop talking about how great he is because we wont get him :)

Don't get me wrong, most of the time I was one of his fanboys and went like :tuttosport: when I see his name being linked with us. It's just that his play looked terrible to me and actually all he did was scoring goals. And yeah IIRC he made many, many mistakes while being benched a lot. I know his Ajax days were amazing but I won't rely on that, it just reminds me of Kezman days in Holland. I wouldn't mind this transfer much. It's just that I didn't like his style at Milan.

And I'd prefer him 10 times over overhyped Pazzini too.

Disagree. Our wingers do great as it is, we just don't have a striker that can finish the job. Look at Amauri yesterday, he connected to 2 headers but nothing happened, and how many crosses went over his head. We really need a smart striker that knows "where to be" so we don't have to work so hard.

That was the best thing about Trez, he just knew where to be to score that one goal. That's what we need badly now.
