Spot on mate...this forum has a knack for rating players they didnt see...now Ivanovic has to be one of the favourites round here..who has actually seen him play..besides the serbians???

How about Huntelaar?? who has really seen him play??
I have.;)

Huntelaar is good, he wasn't ready for the big move last summer, but he will be ready the upcoming summer. He's the perfect Trezeguet replacement, they're quite similar. Only Issue there is, Trezeguet doesn't need to be replaced yet. And because they are so similar, fielding them both together will not do either of them any good. Both work better, when partenered by a Iaquinta, Del Piero, Giovivinco or Amauri. Someone to complement them. Hence Amuari might be the better buy, with Trez still going strongly. Huntelaar would be one for the future though, cheaper and maybe easier to convince to sit out more games, because he's one for our future.

So i'm still split. I'd get to piss of some Ajax fans over here if we get Huntelaar though:xmas:.

Haha, yeah he is. He is currently getting crap service from his teammates, but he just keeps banging in the goals. Like Trezeguet, he doesn't need many chances or much space to score.

Can you imagine the service he'd get with Camo and Giovinco? :drill:

The thing is Secco will probably buy a player similar to DP, Iaquinta and Palladino and we'll end up with Amauri.

Like I said, I really like Amauri but I think DP/Iaquinta can do the job next to David. Forwards are not the problem for Juve yet so that'S why I'm looking for a mid/long term solution and Huntelaar is the one.

yap even david will have his problems with cl and serie a. he can't play 50 games per season in his best form. so hunterlaar would be the perfect solution.
he also needs a year to get in the serie a. and then he can take more and more the role of david with palla iaq or dp next to him

FAO Alen: I think that with a better defense around him, it it will make Barzagli look better. And vice versa with a bad defense. I'm not convinced with him though, I want a quality defender, like Cannavaro TBH.

I dont think thats what Juve need though..I mean Juves current defence arent exactly world beaters(apart from Chielleni)..so how will they make Barzagli look better.

exactly, it wont be that bad bad, but in the circumstances we cant get huntelaar who is a better long term option and like you said different from dp, iaquinta etc...

if we get goal scoring midfielders like VDV or Lampard then I really don't see the need for a goal poacher like Huntelaar since those 2 mentioned players could get in 12-15 goals atleast for us.

Why is Amauri so hugely underrated here..I havent seen much of Huntelaar to judge..but Amauri is a really good player..almost the complete striker...he's strong physically, is good in the air, is a decent finisher and has bags of pace.
Right now Amauri is the better player.

All things considered, I think Huntelaar is the better option.
