The saddest truth about it, is that we sold Coman because of nationalistic reasons.
The same reasons you ppl insist on getting Zaniolo now and ignoring better and cheaper foreign solutions...
He asked to leave, that's all there was to it. No need to re-write history.

Leting this champion go was a big mistake. Back then Allegri was sticking to his 3-5-2 formation. Allegri cant be blame for all his departure. Juve wanted to make profit off him. Such a shame. Congrats to him

Scored the match winner for a huge club in a CL final at the age of 24.

Or in other words, he was 2 weeks old the last time someone did that for us.

But maybe we can call Bayern and see if they will sell him back to us for the 28 million they paid, because with all his faults, he is far better than what we have now on the wings

Allegri used him as an SS with his back to goal

No wonder that prompted him to leave

Have you thanked @DAiDEViL already?

Congrats btw

Other than the goal he wasn't that good though

When they look back at this final during the next couple of decades, probably the last thing anyone is going to say is "You know, aside from that game winning goal, he wasn't that great."

Kind of like the manager of Ford's Theater saying "You know Mrs. Lincoln, all in all, aside from what happened to your husband, that was a REALLY good play, you must admit."

Maybe, seeing as he's gonna ride the bench next season.

Scored a goal in a CL final. Does that suddenly turn him into a worldbeater? By the time we sold him it was a good deal. That we bought shit wingers in Berna and Costa doesn't directly have to do with Coman either. He's a decent winger, nothing more. Surely not worth to have a hissy fit over him now.

Also keep in mind that €28m back then was way more than it is in todays market.

I never said he was a world beater. But he is certainly better than what we have now, and you can also call him a CL hero now as well.
