I have changed my view on big money transfers given how often they are a complete and utter disaster.
When is the last time Juventus paid more than €50m for a player that actually proved to be worth it?

How many players in this list were good signings?

chiesa was a good signing too. unfortunate because of his injuries but still a player who had the potential to become world class, and who was one of the best players of an euro tournament as a juve player. i'd buy chiesa once again if we could go back in time

a good majority of that list is overpriced. i kind of agree with the original point of @TheLaz here. our best signings, especially in the post moggi era, weren't that expensive. pirlo, vidal, licht, barza, pogba cost almost nothing, they were just extremely smart deals. even pjanic or dybala look dirt cheap compared to de ligt or fucking arthur lol

we are missing a competent club indeed

vlahovic yesterday:
2 shots, 0 big chances
0/2 dribbles
0/7 ground duels won (zero out of seven duels won. yes. no typo.)
70% passing accuracy

yildiz didn't decide the game. so you're saying that yildiz was worse than vlahovic? or you're exaggerating?

wanna laugh together at a member accusing me of exaggeration?
It's not an exaggeration, because he was at least among the worst 2-3 Juve players, and whenever he doesn't score or assist he's the worst or among the worst. There is no exact metric for who was THE worst. For Corriere it was Nico, for Tuttosport it was Vlahovic, for Gazzetta it was Yildiz.
And it's true that Yildiz is very inconsistent, regardless of the reason. He himself admitted that he has to start scoring normal goals, not just beautiful ones. He will always be the first name in the starting XI for this Juve if I was the coach, but that doesn't change the impression that for him there is no in-between this season. It's either brilliance or disappointment.

The real difference between Yildiz and others is that he is still a very young player. Vlahovic, Koop, Nico and more at aged 25 with plenty of Serie A experience making them established players in this league. And you should expect more from established players, hence their wages are also a lot more than those of Yildiz. If Yildiz misses sitters we can start to compare his performances with the rest, but a big reason why Yildiz is playing is also his potential for growth: young players need to play, whereas I would expect the others to be ready and perform even if they have been sidelined a few games.
