Yildiz has the fundamentals, he's only needing to find the position he can contribute more often.

He's 19. His prime will only happen between 21-25 years.
Even later than that if will go down the route of Ronaldo and take care of his body. I doubt he will but it's still early days.

He has 11 G+A in all competitions this season at 19

Needs to have minimum of 20-25 goal contributions in order to develop into a WC player
Cristiano Ronaldo had 14 G+A in the season he turned 19. 2 were against Northampton and another against Millwall in the cup.

He needs to up his contributions but he's still very young and development isn't linear. Some players peak earlier than others. Yildiz is developing well.

Its not that linear. I think he is doing very good and his numbers would have been better if Motta had used him in the middle. The entire team played awful for most part of the season though.

agreed with everthing said. except the he is developing well part. with ronaldo you could see potential. explosive pace, technique and insane dribbling so made sense to play him lots . yildiz is slow, not a good dribbler and technique is meh.

I will argue that Yildiz basically playing as a Left Back (lol) actually showed this guy is not only skilled, he is also a very hard working player and capable of doing the dirty job.
No player playing like Yildiz did during Motta days would get 20+ G/A.

Imo he will be a player in the mould of Havertz, just more mobile. Havertz also started as a winger then was moved to the center more, due to the lack of speed, Yildiz should be more universal since he has some speed in him.
