I think he has it in him to undergo a Salah-like explosion, were he to play in a better team. Would be stupid to sell him too cheaply, like Roma did in hindsight.

Our most talented and our most inconsistent player. He either decides games, or he's the worst on the pitch.
vlahovic yesterday:
2 shots, 0 big chances
0/2 dribbles
0/7 ground duels won (zero out of seven duels won. yes. no typo.)
70% passing accuracy

yildiz didn't decide the game. so you're saying that yildiz was worse than vlahovic? or you're exaggerating?

wanna laugh together at a member accusing me of exaggeration?

A couple people on here called me out last week when he had and amazing goal and then we had yesterday. The kid has flashes of brilliance but he also has games of being useless
if only all 19 year old players were just as consistent as ronaldo or messi

oh wait, even messi failed to score an away cl knockout goal for like 3 years in a row. and he was in his prime. even these superhumans have weakest spells

this attitude towards youngsters is the exact reason why juventus fails to retain and develop young players on the long run. we either sell them early or keep them, bench the shit out of them and call them a failure

yildiz is easily the best one of the last few years. he fully deserves patience and time to grow. it's not his fault that he was misused and mistreated by motta, and that this club is at a state when yildiz prematurely becomes our number 10. leave him alone and let him play as much as he can. when he scores, good. when he doesn't, then it's vlahovic's, randal's, chico's or nico's turn. it's a team sport. you can't expect a 19 year old to solve our problems just because an asshole decided to slap a prestigious number on his back

While I will concede some of what you say is true. His inconsistency is a big issue. I remember an 18 year old Pogba at Juve who didn’t have these issues. Now he’s a different story but then he was a beast.

pogba is a once in a lifetime talent and he had issues with his consistency once pirlo and vidal were sold and the whole team's success became his responsibility. and during those times he already had 2 years of growth behind him in our best team of the post calciopoli era

yildiz is not pogba, and locatelli is no pirlo, gatti is no chiellini, these are clear. let yildiz grow. he's not del piero either but if coaches remind him of that, he won't make any progress

I have changed my view on big money transfers given how often they are a complete and utter disaster.
When is the last time Juventus paid more than €50m for a player that actually proved to be worth it?
