Well our last couple of 10's were pretty average - heavy shirt, low bar.
Dybala was far from average though. Pretty crazy to think a guy that helped us win 5 scudetti is 'average'.

Pogba was a mistake, completely buried the #10 jersey but it wasn't a mistake at all to give it to Dybala.
Dybala’s character and fitness can be questioned but not his quality.

I think many of us are just left with a bitter taste by his last couple of seasons where he struggled a bit, topped by his high wage demands and failed negotiations only for him to go on and sign with Roma for half of what he was asking from Juve.

Dybala is a JJ legend. One of the top foreign JJ players of the 21st century.

Many legends of the past have left in unfavorable circumstances too. Doesn't mean anything.

He is a legend nonetheless, but for the stats and numbers he put up towards the end of his spell here despite being in his prime he sure contributed a bit to lowering the bar for the #10, then the off field antics just added up to the greediness and lack of loyalty associated with the #10 shirt in the last decade or so.

I have no issue with Yildiz getting the 10

Hopefully he can shoulder the burden. It only seemed natural he would get a chance to wear it.
The 10 wont burden him at all.

What will burden him this year is the fact that we lack other world-class players in the attack and midfield and all eyes will be on him and Vlahovic to solve every game and problem for us.

Expectations around Juventus are always to win, no matter the dreadful Mercato or other excuses.

When Vlahovic fluffs 10 chances a game it will surely burden him and make him look bad.

Kenan Yildiz has chosen to wear the iconic no.10 shirt for Juventus this season, previously worn by one of his childhood heroes Alessandro Del Piero

I have some doubts about this, especially since Yildiz was like 4 or 5 when Del Piero had his last ok-ish season in Juve.

I think the management is putting a lot of trust and expectations in Yildiz for this very reason, we desperately need game changers and we are hoping the #10 will maybe speed up his development and will motivate him to get better and take on more responsibility on the pitch right away.

It’s the same bs as Endrick. There’s no way a poor Brazilian kid born in 2006 had Bobby Charlton as a childhood hero. They just say anything for social media.

Kids spend more time watching YouTube than live TV.

It's very possible that he could of spent a lot of time watching YouTube highlights.

The number 10 shouldn't be "chosen" by people, we should be giving it to someone who earns it.

Even Valverde for Real didn't get to choose number 8 for himself, he just earned it this season after Kroos left. Arda Guler didn't just "choose" number 8 ahead of him.

We are a meme club.
