When it comes to similarities for me Soule is the one that falls way more in the Dybala category…

Afterall truth is they are only Yildiz and Soule, but we all just desperately want them to turn out big for us, both are showing really impressive potential though which is very encouraging and if they eventually end up having even half the career that for example Tevez or Dybala had it’d already be a great achievement.

Soule looks a lot more like a playmaker than Dybala or Yildiz imo. Dybala in modern football is a striker in a playmaker body, but he is a striker still. Yildiz in the very limited time reminds me of that. Soule seems more about threading a good pass and creating a situation for his teammates than the other two.

Wait why is jabroni Soule mentioned in the same sentence as Yildiz? The latter is by no means a sure thing - but has shown more in two games than Soule has in all his cameos by x50.

He's right. I like Yildiz, one of the few players on the team I am genuinely happy for and excited about.

You're absolutely right. Soule can play behind Yldiz. Soule will grow to become a very good attacking midfielder. Could excel with Rabiot and Locatelli behind him, Chiesa, Yldiz and Vlahovic ahead of him.

Aside from both Dybala and Yildiz playing in a SS role i personally see no other similarities at all between them, Yildiz looks closer to being an actual striker that is very direct in wanting to take players on and shoot whenever he is inside the box while Dybala has more flair about him but is less direct and more the playmaker type that likes to cut inside and curve it from the edge of the box(hence why i mentioned Soule as similar to him) or that always looks to take similar positions outside the penalty area even dropping as a midfielder scanning for passing lanes etc…

For example i can imagine both Yildiz and Dybala playing together simultaneously rather easily because they occupy different spaces on the pitch but i would find it hard to fit Yildiz together with an Tevez type SS/CF because i think they would end up limiting each other’s output, which is primarily what made me draw some comparisons between them.

It will be interesting to see how everything develops. A plain 433 with Chiesa, Yildiz or Soule as wingers. Maybe a 4231 where we could use Yildiz, Soule and Fagioli as AM, or a 3412/343 would be possible aswel.

Really the kind of tactical flexibility and luxury we’ll need when we have +50 games again next year.

Doesn't seem to have the legs for 60+ minutes. So far, he disappears around 50-55 minutes. He plays quite intensely and moves around a lot on the pitch, helps in defense and takes a lot of runs. He is young and played in u18 not that long ago. And on top of that, every player that leaves us say "wow, the training sessions here are so intense!". I think he will grow into it as long as he keeps getting minutes.

He was lost in the game before he was subbed. Static on the left. Wasn't moving much to be available for pass or looking for others, couple heavy touches with the dribbling runs etc.


Already asked dru before, I think Allegri doesn't feel either dont have legs for 60+ yet or tactically focused enough for full game yet. Not a coincidence 3rd or 4th time he is subbed at 60.


Miretti actually had a good sub appearance, he was more a playmaker who was covering more ground to make himself available for 1-2s etc. He was exactly what the game needed at that point.
