During a nationally televised Hurricane Katrina relief show, actor Kayne West showed the world what he was made of as he went on a tirade against George W. Bush.

"George Bush doesn't care about black people," West said. "They're saying black families are looting and white families are just looking for food...they're giving the (Army) permission to shoot us"

NBC attempted to cut off the out-of-line remarks by cutting to a shot of actor Chris Tucker, but by then, the damage had already been done.

This just goes to show that the Bush bashing has gone way far out of hand. I'm not a Bush fan, however these sort of statements do not do any good, and I see no difference between this and the idiots that keep proclaiming this disaster is all Bush's fault because he did not sign the Kyoto Agreement. All of this is just utter bullshit that people spew just because they hate the President of the United States.

This racism crap is blown out of proportion, however there would not be any problem if people would just put themselves in the shoes of those fighting to survive in New Orleans right now. Would you loot a grocery store if you're fighting dehydration and starvation? OF COURSE you would, so making these people who are stealing food out to be bad guys is fvcked up beyond words. People do what they need to do in order to survive....that is human nature. These imbeciles who are putting a color on these people are no better than those who blame Bush entirely for this disaster. You and I would loot the stores if we had to.

This disaster is just a total nightmare for this country, and we don't need idiots starting race and political arguments in time of crisis. FVCKING SHAME.

No.......no, I don't have to agree. The Greenhouse Effect and Global Warming in meteorological issues is entirely overrated. In 1969 when Hurricane Camille devastated the Gulf Coast the storm's pressure was 909 MB with winds of 185 mph. The water temperature in parts of the Gulf, basically the fuel that helps strengthen hurricanes, was about 90 degrees Fahrenheit that week in 69. What were some of the water temperatures in parts of the Gulf today? 90 degrees Fahrenheit, no hotter than decades ago. Now, unless the dinosuars that roamed North America had their own factories to start the "Greenhouse Effect," this argument does not work.

The hotter the water, the more fuel for hurricanes. Even the Hurricane of 1900 was said to be generated by water temps around 90 degrees, and couldn't have been such a potent storm without that factor, so we have been seeing such high water temps in the Gulf for as long as meteorlogical records go back. There is no evidence that Hurricane Katrina or hurricanes in general are formed party due to Global Warming. It's another one of those urban myths that don't have very good evidence behind them.

I can't believe people here think Bush actually hates black people. This could be one of the dumbest and most immature notions I have ever heard to attack this President. If the guy really hates black people I doubt he would have chosen Condoleezza Rice and Collin Powell to be two of his top advisors. Just another imbecilic notion of distaste.

Please make sense here. The reason why all those people stayed and are suffering in New Orleans right now is because they either couldn't get out of the city themselves or they did not want to leave home and just rode the storm out. Obviously only the poorest of citizens could not get out of the city, so of course this is a class problem you idiots. The officials only discovered the hurricane was heading straight towards New Orleans on Saturday, so how in the hell are you going to evacuate 200,000 stranded people in just 36 hours? Impossible. Shouldn't have to spend time watering this stuff down to you people.
