While i agree that 16 goals is a good return. He still is having an average season. One of the biggest reasons why Lyon are not winning the league this season is because they are overly dependent on Benzema, and Benzema has failed them too many times. He's still a deadly striker that can score when provided the chance. But his overall performances have been average this year.
He definitely won't be nominated for player of the year that's for sure.
i donno about that..it is not his fault..he did his job well if you see the stats...you can't blame him cuz lyon are 3rd. about the player of the year i think that ribery or gourcuff will take the title.

Benzema is going to cost at least 50 mil when he leaves Lyon. This player is the next big thing and I have a hard time believing that we could get him so easily, especially with us just splashing the cash for Diego.
i guess if trez HAS to go...this would be the only thing i accept...ne ye, it would have to be tiago + trez + (might as well throw in poulson ) + $$$....i remember aulas saying he would only be sold for 100 mil. I doubt they'll ever get that, but it will definetly be a huge sum
